Our November Featured member, Anna Mykhailevska was born in Ukraine, in the city of Berezhany, Ternopil region. She studied at the Vasyl Stefanyk National University of the Carpathians at the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts, and has exhibited in group and individual exhibitions in Ukraine. Having recently immigrated to Canada, she now makes her home here in Vernon.
Anna’s main theme of creativity is the unity of man and nature, the relationship and reflection of the beauty of the human soul and the harmony of the natural world. Using acrylic and oil techniques, she works in the avant-garde style.
