Eileen Sawracki

Since her retirement from a full-time nursing career, Eileen Sawracki has been able to pursue her lifelong interest in painting. Using texturizing mediums and vibrant colours, she paints in an impressionistic style. Eileen highlights much of her work with outlines using liquid acrylic paint, and portrays her love of nature from her travels and from the Okanagan landscape that surrounds us. Her work is highlighted in the art magazine “Okanagan Artworks” Eileen Sawracki “Doing what she always wanted to do”. Eileen retains active member status with The Federation of Canadian Artists and is a longtime member of Okanagan Artists of Canada. Over the course of her artistic endeavours, Eileen has been a participant in “Lake Country Artwalk”, has exhibited in numerous venues through the North Okanagan, and is a regular contributor to Vernon Public Gallery’s Midsummer Eve of the Arts fundraiser.
