I am experimenting with different mediums, trying to find what feels most suitable for the project I’m working on.
In my work with colour pencil on paper, I mostly use a delicate shading technique, drawing both realistic and abstract shapes.
Recently I’ve been experimenting with the various possibilities of abstract patterns.
In my years living around the Lake Louise area, I was fortunate to observe and appreciate wild animals in their natural habitat.
The series of acrylic paintings on canvas is an attempt to capture the beauty and power of some of those creatures.
I am self taught, and have been drawn to express my creativity by using either a brush, pencil or carving tools since a young age.
I enjoy the experience of quiet focus.
