DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for the closing reception (Finissage) for the Cloth-O Festival II. Artists who have contributed to this community event will be in attendance and you will be able to see the completed exhibit.  \nWe started small and have added to the exhibit so that it has grown. Now after a month-long exhibit consisting of embroidered pockets and other textile articles of various cultural ethnicities\, we are inviting our members and the public to attend a closing reception to honour those who participated in this community endeavour. Come and view the textile artistry of Japanese Sashiko\, produced by Mieko Sato\, the Taiwanese needlework of the Hmong known as Pa Dau\, the Kantha stitchery of the East Indian sub continent\, the delicate Hardanger work of the Swiss and numerous other interpretations. Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome.
